Darul Uloom Newcastle Upon Tyne, established in 2025 under the umbrella of Bahr Charity, was founded to serve the wider community with structured and traditional Islamic education.

Building upon the success of Bahr Academy, the Darul Uloom offers full-time Alimiyyah and Hifz programmes, alongside Tajweed and foundational Islamic Studies courses for children and adults. As the first institute of its kind in the region providing full-time traditional Islamic scholarship, it operates as a supplementary educational institute dedicated to nurturing sound knowledge, spiritual growth, and community guidance rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
