The Sanatayn Course is a structured two-year foundational programme designed for males aged 16 and above who seek systematic Islamic learning without committing to long-term full-time study. It provides essential grounding in the core Islamic sciences, equipping students with sound understanding, intellectual clarity, and practical application.
The objective is to produce grounded, practicing Muslims who understand their beliefs, worship correctly according to the Hanafi tradition, and engage confidently with contemporary challenges while remaining anchored in orthodox scholarship.
Fiqh
Detailed study of worship (ʿibādāt), purification, prayer, fasting, zakah, and other practical rulings, with emphasis on correct application in daily life.
Aqeedah
Structured study of Islamic creed, clarifying orthodox Sunni beliefs and addressing common misconceptions.
Tafsir
Guided study of selected portions of the Qur’an, focusing on meanings, themes, legal insights, and moral lessons.
Hadith
Study of selected prophetic narrations, covering both legal and spiritual dimensions, with contextual understanding.
Seerah
Comprehensive study of the life of the Prophet ﷺ, exploring his character, mission, and practical lessons for modern life.
Tajweed
Refinement of Qur’an recitation skills, focusing on correct articulation, pronunciation, elongation, and stopping, ensuring accurate and beautiful recitation.
This programme is suitable for:

Duration: Two years
Format: Part-time (weekday classes)
Timings: Every Tuesday & Wednesday (term time) | 8pm - 10pm
The curriculum is carefully sequenced to ensure progression without overwhelming students. Teaching is delivered by qualified and experienced instructors in a focused, spiritually conscious environment. The programme balances academic study with tarbiyah, ensuring development in both knowledge and character.
It serves as an ideal stepping stone for further traditional Islamic studies or meaningful community service.
